The Office of the Mayor proudly announced the recipients of Whitchurch-Stouffville’s first-ever Community Impact Awards.  These awards celebrate the outstanding accomplishments of community supporters whose distinctive contributions have elevated both the spirit and quality of life in our community. 

Winners were identified through nominations submitted by friends, family and peers, recognizing their individual accomplishments and contributions to the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville.

Healthy WS: Promoting healthy active living in Whitchurch-Stouffville,

Connected WS: Creating a more inclusive Whitchurch-Stouffville,  

Recipients: Lisa Ronco and the late Anna Trokova Dimovski

 Sustainable WS: Encouraging a healthy and sustainable environment in Whitchurch-Stouffville,  

Recipient: Roger Davidson

Creative WS: Enriching the Whitchurch-Stouffville community through arts, culture or heritage,

Generational WS: Supporting the well-being of Whitchurch-Stouffville children, Youth & Seniors,

Prosperous WS: Demonstrates economic or other benefit to the Whitchurch-Stouffville community,

“The Community Impact Awards highlight the impressive contributions of members of the Whitchurch-Stouffville community. The winners were selected based on their enthusiasm to go above and beyond on a daily basis said Iain Lovatt, Mayor of Whitchurch-Stouffville. “As a community, we can be both proud and humbled by their actions and as individuals; we can be inspired to help our community thrive.”
